Event Terms and Conditions

1. These "Terms and Conditions" for the Storm The Block event apply to you so far as the law permits and govern all activities within the Storm The Block, so please read them carefully.

2. The Operator of the Storm The Block event is Sandstorm ("the Operator"). The Storm The Block event and the activities within it are operated on behalf of the Operator by Done and Dusted Middle East FZ-LLC (The Contractor and their sub-contractors).

Safety

3. If you participate in any activity in the Storm The Block event, you do so at your own risk, so you should always act in a safe and responsible manner.

4. You are responsible for supervising children under the age of 18 in your care and looking after your belongings.

5. Any instructions made by either staff of the Storm The Block event or Event Organisers should be followed in the interests of safety and security.

6. You (as the entrant) or as the parent/guardian agree that neither Sandstorm nor the Contractors will be responsible for any injury to himself/herself and/or his/her child, loss or damages of whatsoever nature arising in connection with the activities, in so far as permitted by applicable law.

Rules of the Storm The Block event

7. The Storm The Block event is open to all registered visitors; however, entrance is subject to availability and not guaranteed.

8. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to enter and while in the Storm The Block event.

9. The Storm The Block event staff reserve the right to refuse entry or to ask you to leave the Storm The Block event or any activity within it.

Event and Venue Rules

10. In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all attendees, Organiser and Venue Owner reserve the right in their absolute discretion to conduct security searches of persons, clothing, bags and all other items on entry and exit to the Event and to confiscate items which may be illegal, cause danger and/or disruption to the Event or other visitors, or are in breach of these Entry Conditions and to refuse admission to the Event. Anyone resisting confiscation of disallowed items or disregarding these conditions will face eviction from the Venue.

11. Organiser reserves the right to:

· Refuse admission or evict any person who is:

· breaching these Entry Conditions;

· committing a criminal offence;

· behaving in a disorderly manner or in a way that has an adverse effect on public safety,

· behaving in an anti-social manner or in a way that causes a public nuisance;

· conducting themselves in a manner that is inappropriate to and/or compromises the safety and/or security of other visitors;

· conducting themselves in a manner that is offensive and/or disrespectful to staff; and/or

· under the influence of drugs and/or excessive alcohol;

· evict all members of any group of persons where that group is behaving in a persistent anti-social manner.

12. In the event of an emergency, Event pass holders and all visitors to the Event must follow instructions and directions from stewards, staff and/or other officials.

13. The Event is an outdoor event and visitors are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear at all times.

14. Visitors must only use the toilets and urinals provided and must not pollute the land.

Content

15. Photography and video footage will be captured inside the Storm The Block event. By entering the Storm The Block event, you consent, on behalf of your children and/or your guests, to photographs and videos being taken of you and /or your quests, and you agree that all such photographs and video footage (The Content) captured by Sandstorm or by any agent of Sandstorm may be used by or on behalf of Sandstorm (including other members of the Sandstorm group throughout the world in connection with the merchandising, publicity and/or promotion of Sandstorm services or for any reasonably incidental purposes (The Purposes).

16. Unauthorised photo-taking, audio and/or video recording is strictly forbidden inside any Screening Room(s). Sandstorm and its Contractors reserve the right to hand over the offenders of undertaking the above-mentioned unauthorised activities to and report the case to law enforcement agencies. Any unauthorised recordings, tapes, films and/or similar items may be confiscated and destroyed.

17. Event goers acknowledge that CCTV cameras will be in operation across the Venue for reasons of security and public interest.

Limitation of Liability

18. In this clause, a reference to “we”, “us”, and “our” refers to the Promotor, its group companies and the Contractors and a reference to “you” refers to rot, your children and/or your guest(s). We will not be responsible for any losses or expenses you may suffer or incur arising out of or in connection with our providing and/or making available the Storm The Block event to you unless such losses or expenses were caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

19. This clause does not exclude or limit in any way our liability for;

· Death or personal injury caused by our negligence,

· Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation and/or

· any other matter for which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or attempt to exclude our liability.

20. We shall not be responsible (to the extent permitted by law) for any losses or injury that arise as a result of your collection, use or enjoyment of any prizes won as a result of your participation in activities and competitions within the Storm The Block event.

21. The Promoter and its Contractors reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions or cancel the use of Storm The Block event and any activities or competitions within the Storm The Block event without specifying reasons and without specifying reasons and without incurring liability as a result. The Promotor and its Contractors are not responsible or liable if for any reason, the Storm The Block event does not open as planned, if the competitions or activities do not run as planned, or for any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter or its Contractors.

22. These terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the emirate of Abu Dhabi and the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in Abu Dhabi, and any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.
